Drug Rehabilitation

OK, let’s get a little scholarly, here. The prefix “re” means that something is being done over again. In other words, something happened the first time around, and now, basically, it needs fixing or changing or improving, or something. Drug rehabilitation, then, can be considered as someone going through a change, more than likely for the better. Hey, it’s for sure that the drug addiction wasn’t the best thing that was happening.

So, how does this change come about? Well, first, there’s the little matter of one admitting that he or she needs to change. And, that has to come from that person. No one else can make the change for him or her; it must start with the individual. OK, he or she has admitted there is a problem. Good! Now, we’re getting somewhere. Now, the “re” can come into the picture.

Plenty of ways to get that “re” going. Programs, treatment facilities, support groups, you name it, it’s out there. All one needs to do is find the right one to suit the particular needs. So, the right method has been found. Let the drug rehabilitation begin. It’s not going to be easy, it’s certainly not going to be any fun, but it’s got to be done, and it will be done.

Again, “re” means to do something over or do it again. What better thing to do that once again lives a drug-free, healthy, normal life? Look at this way. Usually, it’s only children that get a “do-over”. This is a badly needed “do-over”. Take advantage of it.
